1 injured during Nashville home invasion

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are investigating a Monday morning home invasion that sent one man to the hospital.

Authorities on the scene told News 2 three men armed with guns entered the home on Buena Vista Pike around 7:10 a.m. wearing masks and gloves.

A man, woman and child were inside at the time when the suspects allegedly accosted the man and demanded money.

According to Metro police, the suspects took the man to a second location. It’s unclear where that location was.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries and was later released.

A description of the suspects is not available at this time. Police said they found a set of scales at the residence that tested positive for cocaine.

No further details are available at this time.
