Clarksville police investigating armed robbery inside of vehicle

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Clarksville police are investigating after at least two people were robbed at gunpoint inside their vehicle on Friday.

It happened at the Exxon station at Exit 11 between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Clarksville police reported the victims were parked in front of the business when a black Dodge pickup truck with front-end damage pulled beside them.

A white male and white female approached the victims and the woman got inside the vehicle while the man held them at gunpoint and took their valuables, according to Clarksville police.

Clarksville police are hoping to located witnesses to the crime who could assist in gathering more details of the alleged robbery.
