LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 33-year-old man was shot multiple times at his home not far from Cumberland University in Lebanon Thursday morning.
It happened just before 8:40 a.m. in the 400 block of S. Greenwood Street near Leeville Pike, just two blocks from the university’s main campus.
The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he underwent surgery. He was last listed in stable condition.
Lebanon police said they believe the shooting happened during a robbery “due to a large amount of drugs found at the victim’s residence.”
Witnesses reportedly saw two black men believed to be the suspects, and so far police have identified one as 19-year-old Tyvarious Turner.
He is still being sought by Lebanon police and is considered armed and dangerous. If you have information on his whereabouts, please call 615-444-2323.
