GALLATIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – Three people were able to escape a house fire in Gallatin early Tuesday morning.

Fire crews were called to the house on Church Street near Blakemore just before 3:30 Tuesday morning.

A man inside the home woke up to a noise and found flames in the front of his home. He had to rush another adult woman and an eleven-year-old boy out the back door to avoid the flames.

Fire crews found heavy flames and smoke when they arrived. Little of the home appears to be salvageable.

No one was hurt in the fire.

Officials say the home’s tin roof made their attack more difficult, as the heat was trapped inside the home.
