ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WKRN) — An Antioch church gave back to the community Saturday by helping single parents with the upkeep of their vehicles.
The Hickory Hollow Baptist Church on Bell Road held its car care event at 1 p.m.
The church advertised in area apartment complexes to single moms and dads to come and have their car serviced.
Parents had the chance to get their car washed, detailed and receive a free oil change.
“We were looking for something we could do in Jesus name to show Jesus’ love and most apartment dwellers can’t do oil changes or wash their cars on-site so we wanted to do something to make a difference,” said Pastor Ray Clubb.
The church holds the event once a month.
