NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police said a woman has been charged after an iPad was stolen from a hospital waiting area on March 15.
Porcha White, 21, now faces charges of felony theft. She’s being held in the Metro jail in lieu of $7,500 bond.
She’s accused of taking the iPad after a woman left it plugged in to charge while visiting her husband at a Nashville hospital.
Police say she surrendered herself Friday afternoon after surveillance photos were televised, implicating her in the crime.
Detectives have identified all four people wanted for questioning. The other two women with White at the time of the theft were interviewed and do not face charges at present.
Police didn’t say whether or not the fourth person on surveillance, a man, was spoken to.
