Predators beat Kings 5-2

Filip Forsberg became the 5th 30 goal scorer in Nashville Predators history and the Preds beat the Los Angeles Kings 5-2 Monday night at Bridgestone Arena.

James Neal gave the Preds a 1-0 lead in the 2nd period with his 28th goal of the season.

Before the game the Predators honored Mike Fisher for the 1000th game of his career, he celebrated by scoring his 12th goal of the season in the 2nd period to give Nashville a 2-0 lead.

Moments later Filip Forsberg scooped up a rebound right in front of an empty net for a 3-0 lead.  Forsberg is the Predators first 30 goal scorer since Patric Hornqvist.

Ryan Johansen had a goal and two assists and Roman Josi added an empty netter to lock up the win.

Nashville is 12-2-4 in its last 18 games.
