Man’s identity wanted after woman sexually assaulted in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro-Nashville police are hoping the public can help identify a man they say sexually assaulted a woman last week.

Authorities say the woman was walking her dog near the Landmark at Wynton Pointe Apartments around 1:30 a.m. on March 14 when the attack happened.

The victim reported the man asked to pet her dog then forced her into a wooded area behind the apartment complex.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man around 5 feet 10 inches tall who weighs approximately 180 pounds. He was wearing a beanie-type hat.

The victim met with a TBI sketch artist to assist in the production of a likeness of the suspect.
