Predators beat Edmonton 3-2

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — James Neal scored 3 times and the Nashville Predators beat the Oilers 3-2 Monday night in Edmonton.

Neal’s goals were all timely.  He scored his first on a breakaway in the first period to tie the game at 1-1.  In the second period he pulled up for a wrister from the win to tie it up at 2-2.  Then in the third he scored his third to give the Preds their first and only lead of the night at 3-2.

For Neal they are goals 24,25 and 26 this season.

Pekka Rinne gave Nashville a solid night in the net with 28 saves for the victory.

The Predators went 3-1-1 on their road trip across Canada to pick up 7 of 10 points.  They also picked up 2 points on rival St. Louis in the division standings with the Blues going down in Calgary
