News 2 got a behind-the-scenes look at Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic to see some of the costumes and stage designs.

This time, there is new choreography and staging, so if you’ve seen the performance before, this one will be different.

“Our goal in this production is to make it as real and simple as possible because let’s face it, a young woman trying to figure out the relationship she wants, and trying to figure out where her career is going, and coping wth the reality of life, which is death, is a real thing,” said Katie Travis, who plays the lead role of Christine Daaé.

“The Phantom of the Opera” runs through March 20. Tickets are still available. You can win some Friday morning on News 2 at 11 a.m.
