NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 69-year-old man shot in what police call a targeted home invasion two weeks ago died of his injuries Thursday.
Frank Lymon Jr. was inside the Underwood Street apartment when police say three gunmen broke inside, demanded money, and opened fire on Feb. 26.
Lymon was hit and transported to a nearby hospital where he died March 10.
Two children and three other adults were inside at the time but remained unharmed.
The three gunmen reportedly fled on foot through a nearby alley, and now police are hoping the public may have information.
Anyone who knows anything about the persons involved is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
