CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (WKRN) – Two men, including a Fort Campbell soldier, were arrested for allegedly blowing up three mailboxes in Kentucky late last month.
According to a release, on Feb. 25 the two suspects, now identified as Daniel Kordis and soldier Ethan English, reportedly broke into several barns on John Rives Spur and damaged a pickup truck and two trailers.
The following evening, the pair is said to have used homemade explosive devices to destroy three mailboxes in the area of Long Pond Road. Police said the explosives were made using PVC pipe and gunpowder.
Police said one of the men allegedly involved in the incidents confessed, while the other partially confessed.
Kordis and English face multiple charges including burglary, criminal mischief and use of a weapon of mass destruction.
