NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Nashville woman was arrested on Interstate 40 Tuesday and charged with possession of marijuana for resale.
According to Metro police, Deborah Berrelleza was stopped by a state trooper near Bellevue where 265 pounds of weed were found inside her car.
After the traffic stop, a search warrant was executed on Berrelleza’s Brenda Lane home.
Metro police said an additional 11 pounds of marijuana, two pounds of methamphetamine, more than $30,000 cash and three vehicles were seized.
Berrelleza was booked into the Metro jail and is being held in lieu of $100,000 bond.
