Vanderbilt women eliminate Ole Miss 74-59 in SEC Tournament

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Eleventh-seeded Vanderbilt routed 14th-seeded Ole Miss 74-59 Wednesday to advance at the SEC Women’s Tournament in Jacksonville.

Christa Reed scored 21 points to lead the Commodores (17-13). Reed was almost perfect hitting 8 of 10 shots including four from 3-point range.

Marqu’es Webb and Minta Spears added 13 points each and Morgan Batey 10 points plus five assists for the Commodores.

Vandy advances to meet 6th-seeded Georgia (21-8) Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
