NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Police, SWAT units and K-9 officers responded to a barricade situation in north Nashville Saturday.
It was reported around 2 p.m. in the 2400 block of 25th Avenue North known as the Cumberland View community.
Police said a man barricaded himself inside the home with an edged weapon. It was a domestic related incident, and all four of the other occupants inside the home were able to get out.
SWAT team members had their guns drawn and a Metro police command post had been set up outside.
The 51-year-old man surrendered without incident just before 5:30 p.m.
