Last month, a refrigerator, stove, six aluminum doors, a utility trailer and tools were reportedly stolen from new construction at Glass Creek Apartments in the 400 block of Old Pleasant Grove Road.

On Friday, 11 stoves, six washing machines, four dryers and four refrigerators were reportedly stolen from Lifestyle Communities in the 2000 block of Providence Parkway. Many specialty tools were also reported stolen.

Investigators believe the thefts take place when the majority of crews are gone or leaving for the night, but police said it is highly likely the theft is being committed by people who have been working at the sites.

There were no signs of forced entry in the units where the items were stolen.

Police are urging the community to report suspicious after-hour activity at construction sites. Normal hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Anyone with information regarding the thefts should call Mt. Juliet police at 615-754-2550.
