NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Portions of interstates across Middle Tennessee will be closed this weekend.
The right lane of Interstate 65 South will be closed Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. just before the I-24/I-65 split and extending to the Dickerson Pike exit.
Traffic will be temporarily stopped while four overhead signs are hung.
On Friday, the left lane of I-65 North will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Trinity Lane to allow for paving the roadway from asphalt to concrete.
There will lane closures on I-65 North from Friday at 9 p.m. to noon Sunday beginning at mile marker 86 to mile marker 91. Lanes of I-65 South will be from mile marker 91 to mile marker 88. The closures will be for restriping and hanging over new overhead signs.
There will one lane of traffic in each direction so motorists are encouraged to plan for delays and seek alternate routes if possible.
In Montgomery County, I-24 West will be closed at mile marker 8 for bridge construction. Traffic will be detoured using the State Route 237 ramps. Rossview Road will also be closed to traffic.
