LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) – Five people were arrested Wednesday after the Lebanon Police Department’s SWAT team executed a search warrant.

Authorities searched a trailer at the Plaza Trailer Park on Webster Lane in reference to drug-related activity.

The department’s Drug Unit had been engaged in enforcement of the trailer park, which is within 20 yards from a daycare center and 100 yards from a middle school, pursuant to citizen complaints of drug activity in the area.

The city’s drug unit reportedly stopped 15 cars coming from the area on Feb. 18 and made multiple arrests for drugs and other drug-related charges.

During Wednesday’s search, authorities say they arrested five people, three men and two women, who are all from Lebanon. Each has charges pending.

Lebanon police say there was evidence of narcotics activity at the residence, and an infant child was also there and safely released to a family member.

The investigation is active and additional information may be released.
