Program for those affected by layoffs to be held in Gallatin

GALLATIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Rapid Response Program has been put in to place by the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development following a layoff at Comprehensive Pain Specialists in Gallatin.

A meeting will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. to noon at Gallatin City Hall dining room on West Main Street.

Presentations and information with be given on job search techniques, filling out applications, resume writing and interview techniques.

Information will also be provided on how and when to file for unemployment insurance.

Those affected by the layoff will have a chance to receive job leads for potential employers.

A career coach will also be on site to tell employees how to register with
