NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The dates for state testing have been set for Metro Nashville Public Schools.

TNReady, TCAP and End-of-Course exams will start March 2.

The dates changed to accommodate the change from online testing to paper and pencil.

High school students will take the TNReady Math and English-Language Arts exams and the End-of-Course exam for Social Studies from March 2 to March 8.

Elementary and middle school students will take the TNReady Math and English-Language Arts exams and TCAP Social Studies exam from March 9 to 15.

The second half of testing will take place the last week of April and first week of May.

The Department of Education said the test is the same despite being given on paper instead of online.

There will be six multiple choice and open answer questions with answer sheets handed out so students can show their work in math problems and draw graphs.

All accommodations for students with special needs will still be available.
