LIBERTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police searching for suspect who robbed a Dekalb County bank at gunpoint Wednesday morning.
It happened at the Liberty State Bank on East Main Street around 8 a.m.
The Dekalb County Sheriff’s Office reported the suspect ran into the bank, approached a female teller and displayed a weapon.
The teller complied with the robber’s demands and the suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was described as a white man, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and wearing a skull bandana or a neoprene face mask.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the investigation.
