NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – News 2’s Anne Holt and Bob Mueller had lunch with members of Nashville Cable and their guests on Wednesday.

Cable, a leadership organization for women’s professional advancement, invited Anne to share some of her experiences as a media trailblazer as part of their Black History Month observance.

Anne received a gracious introduction by Bob and spent the next few minutes talking the mostly-female audience through the challenges and rewards of her journey.

“For the very reason men have had good role models through the years, it’s just as important for women,” said Cable CEO Susan Huggins. “And you can be a role model to the other gender as well.”

“It’s just important that you need to be faithful about your career and what you’re doing and be a rep in the industry that you serve,” Huggins added.
