NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Belmont used a 10-0 second half run to put away Jacksonville State 81-73 Wednesday night in Nashville.
The Bruins led by only two points when the run started, but the lead grew to 76-64 when it ended with only 2:50 left in the game.
Evan Bradds led the Bruins with another big 18 point performance. Amanze Egekeze and Taylor Barnette each added 15.
Belmont led the game by 19 points early in the second half and survived a 19-2 Gamecock run.
The Bruins improve to 18-8 and lead the Ohio Valley at 10-2.
