HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Palmyra man is facing charges after reportedly evading arrest and pointing a weapon at Humphreys County deputies.
Officers were responding to a motorist assist call when they saw Brian Bric fleeing the area into the woods on Nov. 11, 2015.
It was revealed after an investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation that Bric pointed a weapon at officers while in the woods. Officers fired at Bric, who was hospitalized as a result of his injuries.
The Humphreys County Grand Jury charged Bric with four counts of aggravated assault, one count of unlawful possession of a firearm and one count of evading arrest.
Bric was taken to Humphreys County Jail on Friday and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
