2 rescued from I-24 East crash by good Samaritans

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two women were injured in a multiple vehicle crash on Interstate 24 East in south Nashville early Saturday morning.

It happened near the Harding Place exit around 3 a.m.

Police told News 2 that two women saw an SUV rolled on its side in a ditch and called 911.

The good Samaritans helped the women out of the vehicle and waited with them until paramedics arrived.

The victims were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
