Papa John’s delivery driver robbed in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are investigating after a Papa John’s delivery driver was robbed in south Nashville.

It happened just before 8 p.m. in the 6700 block of Birchbrook Drive, just streets away from La Vergne.

Police told News 2 the delivery driver went to the home and was approached by a young male suspect who showed a gun.

The suspect demanded money and the pizza; the victim complied and was not injured.

K-9 units responded to the scene to run a track but the suspect was never found.

He’s believed to be a light-skinned black male between the ages of 16 and 19. He was wearing a ski mask, dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, dark shoes and had a black handgun.
