NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Commodores escaped the snow in Nashville but couldn’t get past No. 23 Kentucky.
The Wildcats topped Vandy 76 to 57 at Rupp Arena on Saturday.
Shooting woes continued for Vanderbilt with the ‘Dores going 16 for 50 from field goal. They were 33 percent from beyond the arc.
The Wildcats led throughout the game with 21 points from Tyler Ulis and Jamal Murray adding another 18. The two teams stayed even on the boards but Vandy never found their stroke offensively.
Damian Jones had 13 points for Vanderbilt.
The ‘Dores are now 11-8, 3-4 SEC.
Vanderbilt hosts Florida on Tuesday.
