CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two armed suspects held five people hostage Wednesday morning while ransacking a Clarksville home.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Tylertown Road home just after midnight.
During their investigation they learned the gunmen forcefully entered the home after the homeowner heard someone knocking then opened the door thinking it was a roommate.
The homeowner was attacked and suffered numerous facial injuries, the sheriff’s office said.
The suspects then held all five residents at gunpoint while searching the home for cash and prescription drugs.
A debit card, EBT card, cash, prescription drugs, a driver’s license, and a military ID were taken from the home.
The first suspect was described by victims as a black male, 5 feet tall, 150 pounds, wearing red pants and a while hooded sweatshirt.
The second suspect was described by victims as a black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 140 pounds, wearing blue jeans and a dark hooded sweatshirt.
They were last seen leaving the residence in a white SUV. Make and model is unknown.
