NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – As expected, the Titans completed an interview with Chris Ballard Monday for the team’s vacant general manager spot.
Ballard is the Kansas City Chiefs Director of Football Operations and he is the sixth candidate to interview for the spot from outside the organization.
Ballard has overseen Kansas City’s college and pro scouting departments the last three years. Before that, he spent 12 years in the Chicago Bears front office.
Titans President Steve Underwood said last week there were “multiple” in-house candidates, but the team has not released any information if any of them have interviewed for the job.
Last week, the Titans interviewed Jaguars director of player personnel Chris Polian, Buccaneers director of player personnel Jon Robinson, Giants vice president of player evaluation Marc Ross, former Broncos GM Ted Sundquist, and former Lions GM Martin Mayhew.
