NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Backers of new state health care proposal Insure Tennessee will gather to show their support Monday night.
Gov. Bill Haslam is pushing for a plan to extend health coverage to more than 280,000 uninsured Tennesseans.
Supporters want lawmakers to take action on the plan during the legislative session, which begins Tuesday.
Advocates will gather at the state capitol Monday night at 5:30 p.m. for a candlelight vigil.
