CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A driver was killed late Monday morning after two cars crashed in Clarksville on Kraft Street.
Police said Andre White died after being flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center following the 11:15 a.m. accident.
A witness told police she was in westbound lanes when 31-year-old White approached behind her.
He allegedly passed her illegally, crossing double yellow lines. His car then ran head-on into a Subaru Forrester driven by 67-year-old Dana McGraw, of Dickson, Tennessee.
White was taken to Vanderbilt where he later died. Police said it’s unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Blood results are pending but no charges will be filed.
The other driver, McGraw, was also injured and transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
