CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Sheriff’s deputies in Cheatham County busted nine businesses for allegedly selling alcohol to underage people on Friday night.
The department set up an undercover buying operation to test every liquor store, gas station and market that sells alcohol in the county.
Stores that sold to underage buyers will face charges.
Businesses that did not sell to underage people got a special commendation from the sheriff.
The sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post that underage drinking in Cheatham County is a serious problem.
