NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Tennessee Tians conducted two more formal interviews Friday in their search for a new general manager.

Team officials said Chris Polian, the director of player personnel for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and Jon Robinson, in the same position for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, both completed their interviews.

Polian joined the Jaguars in 2013 as director of pro personnel after spending three seasons (2009-11) as vice president and general manager of the Indianapolis Colts.

Polian spent the 2012 season with the Falcons as executive scout.

Robinson joined the Buccaneers after 12 seasons with the New England Patriots (2002-13).

Robinson worked as New England’s director of college scouting (2009-13), and prior to that served as a regional scout and an area scout for the Patriots.

They’re the fourth and fifth, respectively, to be interviewed by the team so far.

On Wednesday, candidate Martin Mayhew was interviewed and on Thursday, both Ted Sundquist and Marc Ross were in the hot seat.

The interviews came after the franchise announced they wouldn’t be renewing the contract of current GM Ruston Webster.
