Man wanted after credit cards stolen from YMCA locker room

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – Franklin police are working to identify a man they say used credit cards stolen from a locker at the gym.

The victim reported to police on Monday that someone had picked his padlock in the locker room at the Franklin YMCA on Royal Oaks Blvd.

The victim later discovered several of his credit cards were missing from his wallet.

Police said the unidentified suspect later used the stolen cards to purchase $1,500 in electronics at a nearby Walmart.

On Friday, Franklin and Hendersonville police said they think the man is the same unidentified suspect wanted in a series of credit card fraud cases in Hendersonville in 2013.

Anyone with information on the man’s identity or whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 615-794-4000.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
