NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two Nashville apartment complexes are now completely smoke-free.
The new policy went into effect at Fallbrook Apartments on Dellway Villa Road in north Nashville, and Riverwood Towers in Madison on January 1.
The two properties are the first in Nashville to implement smoke-free policies under the Metro Public Health Department’s Breathe Easy Campaign.
The apartment communities worked with their residents regarding the implementation of the smoke-free policies for several months.
“The health and well-being of our residents is our top priority,” Fallbrook’s manager Todd Rifle said. “A smoke-free building is safer and contributes to a better living environment.”
Currently around 206,000 residents live in apartments in Davidson County.
