Man, woman robbed outside east Nashville market; 2 in custody

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two people, a man and woman, were robbed Monday outside of an east Nashville market.

It happened just before 9 p.m. outside the 4 Stop Market at Woodland Street and 14th Avenue.

Metro police said three suspects approached the victims. One of the suspects showed a black handgun. A cell phone and wallet were stolen.

All three suspects were around 18 years old, 6 feet tall and wearing dark jeans.

One suspect had a black and white checkered hooded sweatshirt, another in a black hooded sweatshirt and the third in a dark gray sweatshirt.

At least two suspects were taken into custody. It has yet to be released if they were arrested at this time.

Further details have yet to be released.
