CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ClarksvilleNow/WKRN) – A woman is seeking two good Samaritans who helped comfort her parents after a Christmas Day crash that left them seriously injured and another driver dead.

The fatal crash occurred on Christmas Day around 8:23 a.m. near the intersection of Ashland City Road and Branch Road.

Clarksville police said a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Phillip Piccione of Woodlawn, Tennessee, collided head on with a vehicle occupied by 69-year-old Martha Brashear and her passenger, 75-year-old William Brashear.

Piccione was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Brashear’s were each hospitalized with serious injuries.

According to ClarksvilleNow, Tina Brashear Dachtler hopes to find a retired firefighter and his wife who stopped at the scene.

She said she’d like to thank them both for their compassion.

Dachtler told the publication that the two sat with her parents and comforted them as they waited for emergency crews to arrive.

She said she believes the man is a 35-year veteran of a local department, but did not catch either of their names.

Anyone who can identity the witnesses can contact Tina Brashear Dachtler on Facebook.
