NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A north Nashville family is cleaning up on Christmas after a fire destroyed their home.
The fire started around 1 a.m. Friday on Brunswick Drive, just north of Trinity Lane.
Two brothers and a sister lived in the home. One of the siblings smelled smoke and got the others out of the house.
The family’s two dogs made it out of the house, but the family’s cat died during the fire.
Fire crews think the smoke and water damage is so bad the home will be a total loss.
The fire department will investigate the cause of the fire, but they believe it was an electrical issue.
