CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Local law enforcement gathered over $600 in just one hour Friday morning to help give children in need a brighter Christmas.

Clarksville police officers, Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies, and 911 Dispatchers gathered the money between 3 and 4 a.m.

The group loaded up on toys and played Santa to children staying with the Salvation Army who wouldn’t have gifts this Christmas.

Ten children between the ages of 3 months to 10 years received Christmas presents Friday morning.
