Man wanted for statutory rape at large after leading deputies on pursuit

COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Marshall County man wanted for aggravated statutory rape remains at large after leading Williamson County deputies on a pursuit Tuesday night.

Authorities said Bobby Medley led deputies on a high-speed chase through College Grove before he stopped and fled on foot during a traffic stop.

According to authorities, Medley is wanted for aggravated statutory rape in Marshall County.

Police warn he is considered dangerous.

Medley is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has a shaved head and was last seen wearing all-black clothing.

Late Wednesday afternoon, police said a man matching Medley’s description was reportedly spotted inside at Lebanon Pike store around 8:40 a.m.

According to a release, he was last seen leaving the store’s parking lot on foot and police said he could be staying in that immediate vicinity.

A woman in the van, 42-year-old Victoria King was also in the van at the time.

Initially she told authorities that she did not know Medley and that he kidnapped her and her 14-year-old daughter.

King was cited after two drug pipes were discovered in the van.
