GRENADA, Miss. (WKRN) – The man accused of shooting a Nashville councilman last month appeared in court in Mississippi on an unrelated charge Tuesday.

Brandon Hunt-Clark is charged with armed robbery after he allegedly robbed a Grenada Inn on Dec. 10.

He remains jailed in Mississippi in lieu of $100,000.

The 19-year-old’s case has been sent to a grand jury.

It is unclear on when Hunt-Clark will be returned to Nashville.

In addition to the out-of-state-charges, Hunt-Clark also faces felony aggravated assault charges in connection to a shooting that injured Nashville Councilman Loniel Greene last month.

Greene was shot in his elbow, shoulder and chest. He was hospitalized at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for several days. He’s since returned to work.
