Predators fall to Flames 2-1

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Predators fell to 2-6 in overtime games after losing 2-1 to Calgary Tuesday night in Nashville.

Kris Russell scored the game winner on a two-on-one play, 1:23 into overtime.

It’s the sixth straight win for the Flames who are an NHL-best 8-1 in overtime this season.

Cody Hodgson scored the only goal of the night for the Predators on a first period penalty shot. It is Hodgson’s third goal of the season.

Pekka Rinne made 19 saves in the loss.

The Predators will play in St. Louis against the Blues on Thursday night.
