Vanderbilt falls at Baylor 69-67

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Nolan Cressler missed at the buzzer and the 16th ranked Vanderbilt Commodores lost at 25th ranked Baylor 69-67 Sunday in Waco.

Cressler’s shot came off of a miss in the lane by guard Riley LaChance.

The Commodores were red hot from 3-point range and hit 10 of 21 shots, but were doomed by 17 turnovers.

Taurean Prince scored a career-high 30 points and Lester Medford had 15 for the Bears

The Commodores led by as many as eight points in the second half, but Medford’s jumper from the corner with 42 seconds left gave the Bears the winning basket.

Wade Baldwin had 19 points for Vandy before fouling out. Matthew Fisher-Davis had 11 points.
