NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Nashville Predators finally found their offense and notched their most decisive win in week 5-2 over Arizona Tuesday night in Nashville.
Mike Ribeiro scored the biggest goal of the night for Nashville when he stole the puck early in the third period and quickly whipped it past Mike Smith to it up at 2-2 with over 17 minutes to play.
From there it was all Filip Forsberg. Two minutes after Ribeiro tied it Forsberg untied it with an unassisted goal from the slot, his fourth of the season.
With three minutes to play, Ribeiro hit Forsberg for the Predators fourth goal of the evening to put it away.
James Neal added an empty netter to make it 5-2.
Calle Jarnkrok scored the Preds first goal of the evening on the power play on a pass from Shea Weber.
Pekka Rinne had 15 saves to pick up the victory. Nashville improves to 13-7-4 and hosts Florida Thursday night.
