WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Authorities are working to identify the three masked suspects involved in an armed robbery at a Wilson County Dollar Store.
It happened around 9 p.m. Monday at the store located at Highway 231 and Central Pike.
According to a release, the suspects held a store employee at gunpoint and demanded money be placed into a grocery bag.
The perpetrators held the store clerk at gunpoint until they were able to flee the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
As they were fleeing the store, several shots were fired into the air.
A witness told police they heard a total of four shots and saw a large, dark-colored car driving away north on Highway 231.
