PORTLAND, Tenn. (WKRN) – Portland police are investigating after an Exxon Market was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning.
Surveillance video shows two black men entering the store on the corner of Highway 52 and Highway 31 W., running up to the clerk with pointed guns and demanding money.
The employee complied with their request before the pair ran out of the market in a waiting get-away car.
The men were last seen wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas over their faces. They fled in a white Ford Mercury Grand Marquis.
Police said the car has a moonroof and damage to the front passenger side.
It was last seen traveling in the direction of Highway 52, toward Interstate 65.
