ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WKRN) – A woman crashed her vehicle into a power line pole in Antioch early Monday morning, leaving thousands without power.
It happened on Cane Ridge Road near the intersection of Bell Road around 6 a.m.
The driver told News 2 her wheels began to slip before she lost control and struck a support cable of the power pole.
She said she hit the pole to avoid hitting nearby children who were waiting at their bus stop.
Over 4,700 residents were without power due to the crash.
No one was injured.
