Columbia police investigate parking lot bank deposit robbery

COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WKRN) – Columbia police are investigating after two employees carrying a bank deposit were robbed in the Shadybrook Plaza on Sunday.

The robbery occurred at 10 a.m. on Sunday, November 29 when two employees of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet were robbed in the store parking lot located at 1901 Shadybrook St.

Columbia police said the employees were carrying a bank deposit when the suspect came to their vehicle and demanded the deposit while holding a pistol.

Afterwards the suspect left as a passenger in a dark colored vehicle.

The employees described the suspect as a tall and skinny male in his teens or early 20’s. The vehicle was described as a dark-gray four-door vehicle with tinted windows.
