ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police are continuing to investigate an armed robbery at an Ashland City restaurant earlier this week.
It happened at the El Ray restaurant around 10 a.m. Wednesday.
According to police, the victim was pistol whipped and maced before an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
“I never saw him before, he didn’t say anything,” said Francisco Martin Gomez.
The suspect, who was armed with a dark colored semi-automatic pistol, is described as a Hispanic man who is around 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds.
He has black hair and possible facial hair.
At the time of the armed robbery, he was wearing a black coat, a grey or green t-shirt, a dark colored cap and Nike tennis shoes.
The man fled on foot.
