NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Shoppers hit Nashville-area malls early Friday morning to take advantage of the deep discounts and specials offered by many retailers on Black Friday.
Some area malls and retailers officially kicked off Black Friday sales on Thanksgiving night.
Opry Mills opened their doors to a line of shoppers at 6 p.m. Thursday.
A spokesperson for the mall said she expected thousands of people over the course of the weekend.
“We’re really packed with merchandise and that’s what it’s all about,” General Manager Greg Cole said. “This weekend is huge.”
Opry Mills Mall closed at 1 a.m. Friday and reopened at 6 a.m.
Cool Springs Galleria opened their doors to a line of customers at 6 a.m. Friday. They’ll be opened until 10 p.m.
In Murfreesboro, Stones River Mall and The Avenue are both operating on extended hours as shoppers hit the sales.
